- I hate getting old because I know I will receive substandard care now. I have witnessed this since getting on Medicare, 6 months ago, at the age of 68. The doctors I have used for years are not as eager to schedule me back for follow up visits or RX drugs or even take the time to talk to me, now.

- I am glad I am not on the Jury. It will come down to "who was the perpetrator"? We have to remember at all times that Zimmerman was armed and the boy was not and Zimmerman got out of his car....

- Two things here. I was not a fan of Dick Clark even though I travelled via Greyhound bus in 1960 to American Bandstand with two girlfriends. We had tickets and we did dance on his show,. We had a great time. 2nd: What is with these simple outpatient surgeries that are killing older people.

- If we lived in Tornado Ally area, the first thing we would do is build a storm shelter to house a dozen or more. If I had to live in a Trailer Park...I would not be living in a Trailer in a Tornado Ally area UNLESS These Trailer Parks have built underground safety for their renters.

- I refuse to go under for anything. I do not have faith in most anesthesiologists. This tragic story is yet another example. I went in for a simple kidney stone removal. They said I had to be put under. I was so against being put under as I have heard horror stories but was talked into this.
